The enhancement of inclusivity embodies people and ideas.  I will work with the leadership of NACADA, Region 4 and with fellow advisors to promote the appreciation and inclusion of groups and ideas that are underrepresented.  The enhancement of inclusivity requires being proactive and following through. A proactive method is to assess what areas need more consideration in NACADA’s advising culture. An assessment may occur through surveys, focus groups, and reviewing of previous practices. The follow through is creating an action plan for the identified areas. An action plan requires involvement and support of the stakeholders of NACADA and Region 4. Successful growth and change can only occur with the enhancement of inclusivity.
