Abstract:

Navigating course registration when students are changing their major can be frustrating. When students are confused about their change of major choices, additional questions arise and the whole process can be overwhelming. However, as students change their new major, we, as academic advisors, can use a few strategies to facilitate the transition. This presentation will provide you with new ideas on course registration and student engagement.
You will learn the following:
1. Guiding students for their course registration while highlighting the importance of their curriculum as they change their major.

3. Student Appreciation
Every student's case is unique as they experience different situations based on their academic progress, so throughout this presentation, you will learn to build a successful transition for students who are changing their major. |
