Swipe Right! Students are focused on making money fast, and many worry they won't see the benefits of higher education.
In a collaborative discussion, advisors can help students discover the benefits of continuing their studies to define purpose and focus on skill development. Advisors will create a 'dating profile' to explore different avenues for students who are worried that the traditional 4-year track does not work for their life plan
Higher education may not be everyone's cup of tea. It is important to understand pros and cons of 'dating' or deciding on the best fit for the student, whether that be the traditional 4-year track or another route to get them where they would find meaning in their future. |
