Abstract:
|
As student learning becomes increasingly mobile across institutions, modalities, and experiences, advising and enrollment functions must evolve beyond siloed structures. Students today earn dual credit, transfer across systems, and expect real-time clarity about how their coursework applies to degree requirements. This session explores how institutional alignment-across enrollment management, advising, system leadership, and technology-can reduce friction for mobile learners. Presenters will examine system-level transfer strategy, cross-functional workflow integration, and emerging AI-supported credit tools, addressing concerns about accuracy, trust, and professional identity. Through applied institutional examples and a strategic alignment framework, participants will gain practical insight into strengthening collaboration between advising and enrollment teams. Attendees will leave with a shared language for learning mobility and concrete considerations for leading mobility-centered conversations on their campuses. |
