Abstract:

Mandatory advising is commonplace at many institutions. After 17 years of a campus-wide Mandatory Advising policy that requires incoming freshmen to participate in two years of academic advising, we seek to quantify student perception and knowledge as a result of this policy. Join us as we share the results of a study conducted to quantify current student learning and perception as a result of participating in Mandatory Advising at a large R1 public institution with a decentralized advising model. |
