Abstract:
|
Research consistently shows that student engagement plays a critical role in supporting students' transition to college, improving their academic performance, and strengthening their overall college experience. As higher education increasingly operates in virtual and hybrid environments, advisors face new challenges in fostering meaningful engagement beyond the screen.
How can advisors promote authentic connection and involvement when so much interaction occurs remotely? This session explores practical strategies advisors can use to inspire students to engage both virtually and in person. Participants will learn how intentional outreach and creative programming can encourage students to recognize the value of campus involvement and take active steps toward building community, connection, and success. |
