Abstract:
|
This session highlights our university's Pathway Program, a multi-faceted, collaborative initiative supporting the belonging and achievement of students who simultaneously meet the institution's guaranteed admission criteria, and are also academically underprepared based on their standardized test scores. Integrating faculty, academic success coaches, and academic advisors, the program delivered targeted support designed to improve academic performance, facilitate major exploration, and ultimately higher persistence and retention rates. Attendees will learn metrics for identifying participating students, key performance indicators to track students longitudinally, and proactive interventions from academic alerts to programming. Participants will discuss outcomes and best practices from both the Pathway Program and their areas of expertise and identify strategies to strengthen academic success and persistence initiatives within their influence. |
