Abstract:
|
This pre-conference workshop aims to provide a framework and formal process for managing the human side of change for campus reform and innovation. The intent is to apply change theory to help mitigate operational disruption and a damaged culture when implementing a cultural shift in advising structures. During this workshop presenters will share how their institution is implementing advising reform and innovation by applying theories of change to cultivate cooperation, and to address resistance. To benefit fully from the workshop, participants are strongly encouraged to engage fully in the workshop activities. This workshop is geared toward advisors and advising administrators who interested in, beginning, or are amid advising reform of any size on their campus. |
