Abstract:
|
Tracking is a degree audit benchmarking program/policy at the University of Florida that focuses on improving retention and four-year graduation rates. By identifying roadblocks and success predictors, this system has significantly reduced the number of undecided and off-track students over several decades. Tracking provides advisors with the authority to ensure accountability while granting students the autonomy to monitor their own progress. This presentation explores Tracking's longevity, emphasizing its integration into the undergraduate as a lived experience rather than just software. This presentation will be of interest to participants or administrators who are interested in utilizing degree tracking to improve student retention outcomes. |
