Abstract:

Writing for the NACADA Journal: Engaging Practitioners in the Scholarship of Advising
The NACADA Journal plays a pivotal role in advancing the scholarship of advising. In this panel presentation, we emphasize the need for member contributions to enrich our literature base. This session caters to both seasoned professionals and newcomers interested in publishing with the NACADA Journal. Acknowledging the daunting nature of writing for publication, particularly for practitioners unfamiliar with the process, this session offers support and guidance. Panelists include the NACADA Journal co-editors, a peer reviewer, and a recent author published in the Journal. They will share insights and advice, covering the publication process and possible research directions. Attendees will gain valuable insight into best practices for authors. Join us as we demystify the publication process and nurture the next generation of NACADA authors. |
