Institutions send out emails and communication to their unique populations but when it comes to advising, many students confront us with the same answer: 'I didn't read your email.' Though an excuse, as advisors we could become frustrated, or we could change how we transmit information to students. Join this session to learn how a team of advisors changed their communication strategies to relate to the students of today. From this session, you will learn how to 'boss up on communication' in a way that resonates with your student population. |
