Abstract: The shift from being a coworker to taking on a leadership position can be difficult, especially if it requires rearranging current connections. This talk details the intricacies of this change while highlighting how it affects team dynamics and professional relationships. This session seeks to equip emerging leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully navigate this shift while upholding strong relationships and establishing a productive work environment, in addition to providing existing leaders with actionable skills to improve their communication and relationship building within the office climate. These objectives with be achieved by drawing on well-established leadership concepts and practical insights.
