Developing Your Mission and Vision - A Team Approach
As the advising profession has grown within higher education, the need to provide a clear mission and vision to guide interactions between advisors, students, faculty, administrators, and families has become critical. Many advising positions on higher education campuses are created in reaction to an immediate need and don't always allow for thoughtful construction of guiding principles. This session will provide strategies for formulating an advising mission and vision within your own advising team, while utilizing the unique skillsets of each team member. Attendees will leave with action items for next steps as well as resources to steer the conversation. |
