Achieving Student Success: Exploring Academic Advising vs. Success Coaching
Both academic advisors and success coaches play a key role in student success. While the two titles may seem interchangeable, this presentation explores the variation and similarities in the roles. The audience will be guided by two long serving academic advisors, recently turned success coaches, as we work collectively in examining the process of serving a student holistically. We believe serving the whole student is the key to student success. By the end of this audience engaging presentation, participants will leave with a new perspective on academic advising versus success coaching with various tools on how to best achieve student success at their home institution. |
