Abstract:
|
Change is unavoidable and managing change effectively is critical to long-term success of any organization. As Vukotich (2011) reminds us, 'Those that can adapt and be in front of the change curve will have the most success' (Introduction para. 1). NACADA's Advising Community Division was tasked with a division review in late 2023 that has since led to planned changes for long-term sustainable success. Panelists will spend time talking about change management as a process, including one philosophical approach to change as well as our experience of managing change within the restructure process itself. This panel will provide an opportunity to learn about the process used as well as lessons learned that can ultimately be applied to any unit, division, or organizational change process. |
