This advising administration session examines key strategies for fostering inclusive cultures and facilitating professional growth within the evolving landscape of higher education. Addressing the challenges with advisor retention and recruitment, a team of advising administrators from a large, Hispanic-serving public research institution will discuss practical strategies and share specific approaches developed within a large academic advising team on a hybrid work model. Participants will learn practical strategies that include how to integrate data-driven feedback mechanisms, establish new advisor mentorship programs, and integrate advisor led initiatives that boost advisor morale and wellness. Join us to discover actionable insights and gain valuable tools to build cohesive teams, evaluate performance effectively, and support the professional development of advisors. |
