Title: Unlocking Student Support: Insights from the BYU Pulse Survey
First-year college students bring diverse backgrounds and varying levels of familiarity with campus resources. Some face socio-economic or racial disparities, while others grapple with the fear of seeking help. To address these challenges, [INSTITUTION] Enrollment Services developed a pulse survey for first-year students. This presentation will: 1)Introduce the [INSTITUTION] Pulse Survey: Attendees will learn about its structure, delivery, and student responses; and 2) Empower Advisors: We'll explore how advisors can create their own pulse surveys, fostering student connections and providing essential support. Discussions will cover forgotten deadlines, hidden consequences, and underutilized campus resources. Let's ensure every student receives the tools they need to thrive! |
