Abstract: Shallow Roots: Growing as an Advisor by Branching Out
While tree roots can grow to impressive depths, they don't always need to grow deep for the tree to thrive. Advisors may feel like the only way to grow in their career is to extend deeper into the organization by promotion. So how advisors continue to grow in the field of advising? It's time we do as the trees do and branch out to explore unique ways to bloom. This presentation will showcase a variety of different ideas in which advisors can flourish in their careers. Also, leaders will learn how to support their advisors who seek these opportunities. So, let's leaf behind the notion that deep roots are the only way for an advisor to thrive and embrace a world where growth knows no bounds.
