Abstract:
|
We've heard it time and time again - trust is key. With falling trust in higher education and universities as a whole, how can Student Services Professionals build trust with their students? This session will address a hard topic: trust. We will discuss why trust is so critical to working with students, some systemic barriers in building trust with students, and how we as individuals can build trust in our practice. This session will be highly reflective and participatory, hoping discussion and reflection will lead to both action and more sincere connection to students. Building stronger relationships with our students is tough, but trust me - you can do it! |
