Abstract: Empowering Change: Developing a Comprehensive Proposal for Tiered Advising

We want to help you build a proposal for tiered advising. We will walk you through our process to outline the impact of academic advising on retention and how a tiered advising progression plan will illustrate how integral academic advisors are to student success and retention on your campus. We will outline resources and the most impactful data we were able to present and how we told a compelling story of academic advising on our campus. We will discuss how to set the stage for continuous improvement of Academic Advising that will offer Academic Advisors a seat at the table for future discussions about initiatives that are meant to impact our student population and retention.
