Keep Calm Visit with Your Success Coach: The Impact of the Learner Care Model
The presentation will detail how the college reimagined what student success support looks like, and how we came to create the Learner Care Model. Participants will learn how the Student Success leaders leveraged data, research, technology, and relationships to secure resources and team buy-in for creating the Success Coach Role. The session will include how students are supported through holistic advising and proactive case management. Some conceptual framework elements discussed include Transformational Leadership, Culture of Care, High-Impact Engagement, and Student-Centeredness. The session will introduce how we serve students under Continuing Education, Dual Credit, First-time in College, Special Populations, and Academic Programs. In addition, the presenters will highlight establishing a Virtual Evening Team that offers live coaching services from 10 am to midnight. |
