(Read in movie trailer narrator voice personality, Don LaFontaine) In a world of uncertainty over their college futures, students count on 'rock star' Advisors to help guide them on a pathway of persistence and success. However, the emotional and physical grind of helping students persist and succeed along with the job hazards of their workstations can take a toll on even the most resilient of our advisor's mental, emotional, and physical health if not mitigated by well-being measures. In this presentation, the facilitator will take participants on an energizing and therapeutic journey of both fun simulated aerobic exercises and evidence-based meditation practices that revitalize the mind, body, and soul. Participants will leave this session with a reminder to integrate fun, laughter, and mindfulness into any well-being practice they start back home or on campus. |
