Abstract:
|
Join us to champion academic and faculty advisors as helpers in an interactive learning environment that translates student success between faculty advisors and advisement centers. The discussion extends to academic advising approaches, strategies, and the vital role of NACADA's core competencies in conceptual, informational, and relational components. Participants will use Bloom's Taxonomy to analyze, evaluate, and create strategies to enhance academic and faculty advising partnerships. Aligned with NACADA's theme, 'A Beautiful Day in the Burgh: Championing Advisors as Helpers!' this session sheds light on the relationship between academic advisors and faculty advisors, emphasizing the shared responsibility of guiding students' success and degree completion. |
