Abstract:
|
Prior to fall 2018, our Advising Advising office had student workers available to answer the phones and pull files. Based on student capabilities, it was realized they could be assisting in serving our student population on a greater scale. The tier model comes with a renewed philosophy that all peers would be knowledgeable on many policies and procedures that relate to the College and University. The peers were integrated into the Advising Office as part of the team. With this model, the peers were integrated into the Advising Office as part of the team. Our session will focus on the implementation and progression of the tier model. The hiring, development, and promotion of these positions will be explained. |
