Title:	How Booking an 'Around the World' Airline Ticket Lead to a New AI Course Progression Digital Tool

Abstract:	When booking an 'Around the world' ticket with a major airline, thoughts came to mind: How does Y sequence the trip? How does it know I mean Rome when I type Italy for the city? How does it present alternative options to me that I may need to consider? What if students could plan their course and the same logic applied? When a student selected what they wanted to study, the tool told the students: What impact would this have on the ability for advisers to look beyond transactions and move to a more relational advising model? This lecture style presentation will share the experiences of building a course progression tool which empowers students to create their own learning paths and provides the time and space for advisers to have meaningful conversations with students.
