Adult Student Engagement: An Ambassador Program Model for Diverse Students and Busy Advisors
Are you searching for a strategy to engage a growing and diverse adult student population? Developing engagement programs that respond to the varying needs of these students is complex and can be daunting. Our adult students lead busy lives, and while they may desire a connection to their peers and enriching student experiences, program participation is a challenge and can leave us disheartened. Don't give up! Learn about an adult student ambassador program that 1) offers realistic engagement opportunities for students who crave connection and 2) lowers the pressure on staff with limited resources. Additionally, the program model is designed to meet the needs of distance education and main campus students and offers value for both first-year and transfer students. |
