The Grad Guide: Orienting and Onboarding Graduate Students
This presentation will show our approach to welcoming graduate students that reflects our dedication to supporting their academic journey as they become part of our community. Our advising and student success team created a smooth process that helps orient our online, international, and in person graduate students to their new academic programs and the college. Come learn how we support our students from the time of admission through outreach, programs, technology, and cooperation with other offices at the institution. Our program aims to build a strong foundation, create confidence, and foster a sense of belonging. We will share how we planned and implemented our process and how we evaluate the outcomes. |
