This presentation outlines an approach to using Microsoft Excel to maintain an advisee tracker.
Effective caseload advising requires organizing large amounts of information in order to target outreach and track student progress. By using a tracker that pulls raw data from reports with formulas, it is easy to update information from an SIS while also recording advisor-generated information, all a customized dashboard. Advisors become quite powerful when equipped with this tracker and the tools to adapt it to their particular situation, with easy access to just the information they need at a particular time. This presentation covers the approach to Excel as well as teaching the necessary features and skills to adapt it to any context. |
