Abstract:
|
As a leading University in [country], X primarily enrolls high-achieving students with specific majors. The Academic Advising Office (AAO) at X was launched in 2021 to provide professional academic advising services to students. While X's recent surveys revealed that about 40% of first-year students are either unsure about their future or know how to plan to achieve their goals, we implemented the 3Rs model (review, restructure, and reform) to better respond to students' needs. We re-identified the characteristics of our students, made adjustments to the AAO's current advising services, and proposed new strategies for future academic advising systems at X. With a 99.63% recommendation rate from our students, demonstrating the success of the AAO's services. It also indicates that the 3Rs model is an effective way to enhance the quality of academic advising. |
