Abstract:

Being a remote/hybrid advising team can come with challenges of mental health, sense of belonging, and the need to focus on wellness both individually and as a team. Remote work can have a reputation of being isolated, but a well-planned system can prove to grow into a thriving community in a virtual space. Attendees at this presentation will learn how one academic advising team went from an undesirable culture, to one that embraces change with a focuses on the advisor's well-being, team building, and an overall better environment to work in. |
