Abstract: Development of Metacognition in Pharmacy Students

There is a growing emphasis to incorporate metacognitive thinking in upper-level pharmaceutical curriculum due to expanding accreditation standards, however limited studies have analyzed this from a teaching and advising initiative. Epistemological and intellectual development theories are used to evaluate the perceived level of metacognitive growth in third year pharmacy students.
