Abstract: This presentation aims to create a space for advisors to reflect on how they can provide holistic and intentional spaces for their transgender advisees. It addresses the needs for community and connection that transgender students experience and the challenges they face that impact their ability to succeed. By providing a framework to guide the discussion, we hope to create a space wherein advisors feel empowered to share practices they utilize and also to ask questions they may not have been able to address before.
