From a Whisper to a Shout: Find the Volume That Works for You to Feel Seen, Valued, and Heard
This session will help advising professionals define how they want to be seen and heard on campus. Participants will have an opportunity to share experiences. They will complete a worksheet that assesses their strengths and helps them formulate strategies to leverage these attributes in various campus venues and/or to move up the career ladder. Participants will also create a "dialogue tool" box designed to help overcome obstacles and scenarios that prevent them from feeling heard and seen as the valuable contributors that they are in higher education. |
