Lead Presenter: Thomas Kay

Room: 201/202, DECC
Abstract: Have you been feeling like you aren't living as your truest self? Has this affected how you perceive your work, your rapport and relationships with students, or how you fit into the mission and goals of your department/institution? This presentation will introduce the concept of core values and how living into your values enhances your personal satisfaction, student success, and aids in eliminating burnout. Drawing on Brene Brown's, 'Dare to Lead,' participants will learn the concept of core values, engage in self-reflective exercises, discuss how living into values can maximize personal growth, strengthen relationships with students, and create practical applications to better serve the department/institution.
