Abstract: Making Every Day Beautiful: Improving Advisor Morale During High-Stress Periods

Do you feel overwhelmed during peak registration periods? Do you get anxious when you see the line of students waiting to see you? Is burnout a factor in your job?

Research suggests that emphasizing advisor well-being during high-stress periods can transform taxing times into opportunities to increase morale and team spirit. Shift chaos into calm by implementing strategies for sustainable support by fostering a culture of recognition and appreciation in your team.

Join us to learn how to create interactive strategies that will allow advisors to shine every day! We will share how themed activities during stressful cycles can 1) celebrate advisor success, 2) build community, and 3) create a supportive structure that champions comradery to reduce burnout and increase positivity.
