Abstract: This 60-minute presentation highlights a holistic, student-centered advising model that integrates academic, personal, and professional development to promote student success. It focuses on building strong, personalized relationships between advisors and students while fostering campus-wide collaboration. By connecting academic advising with resources like career services, counseling, and academic support, this model ensures students receive comprehensive guidance throughout their college journey. Attendees will learn how to apply these strategies at their own institutions, regardless of size or resources, using data analytics and technology to provide proactive support and track student engagement. The session will also explore how faculty and peer advising can enhance the advising process. Emphasizing mentorship, collaboration, and continuous innovation, participants will gain practical insights on adapting advising practices to meet the evolving needs of today's students and empowering them to succeed academically and personally.
