Room: 264, DECC
Abstract: The award winning School of the Arts (SOTA) Living and Learning Community (LLC) at a four-year public university, while only three years old, is one that can be emulated with other career specific groups of majors to increase student satisfaction, inclusivity and persistence. Even during a global pandemic, persistence and retention is possible! This presentation will cover the entire process of creating an inclusive, cross-disciplinary environment from the logistical planning and collaboration phase, to advertising, to working with students to develop programming, and finally to assessment.
