Abstract: 'Wait. You're telling me that I need to connect with my students, but I can't see them in person?' We've all been faced with this challenge of finding new ways to maneuver through the functions of academic advising via a virtual platform. It can be overwhelming. But what if we used this challenge to propel us into using our learning management software to its fullest potential. Sense & Cincinnati: Making Sense of Virtual Advising Through Your LMS will explore the possibilities of using your LMS to not only fulfill the functions of academic advising, but provide avenues to connect and engage with your students. We will utilize findings from advising scholars, trial and error experiences, and helpful application tools for a variety of LMSs to help you successfully achieve your academic advising and student engagement goals.
