Abstract: In 2016, the University of North Georgia (UNG) implemented a new Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) as part of its reaccreditation process. The plan, with an emphasis on a blended advising model, is called 'On Time and On Target'. In the years since, UNG has seen significant improvement in its quality of academic advising. As part of the QEP, UNG has made extensive use of the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) to make data-driven decisions regarding advising changes. Now as we enter the final year of the QEP, improved results in advising culture as well as organizational changes have led the University of North Georgia to be recognized by NSSE for the LRC's of Advising - Listening, Respecting and Caring In this presentation, we will discuss advising at UNG, what changes were implemented, how our advisors focus on the LRC's and what it means for the future.
