Abstract:
|
This session will empower academic advisors with the insights and tools necessary to enhance their effectiveness as leaders in the academic advising process, particularly for students of color. Through the application of Path-Goal Theory, advisors will be better equipped to motivate students, eliminate impediments, and deliver the essential support required for their success. This approach not only fosters individual student development but also fortifies institutional diversity and retention initiatives, ultimately clarifying roles while enhancing satisfaction and performance. |
