This session explores how AI tools like ChatGPT can revolutionize advising practices,and reduce administrative workload. We will showcase practical applications of AI, such as automating routine inquiries, synthesizing documents and information, and analyzing data. Additionally, we'll delve into ethical considerations, emphasizing a balanced use of technology that complements, rather than replaces, human interaction. Attendees will learn strategies for incorporating AI into their advising practices, optimizing time for meaningful student connections. Through a live demonstration and group discussion, participants will gain actionable insights to leverage AI tools responsibly. They will leave equipped to implement AI-enhanced advising methods that foster student success while alleviating advisor burnout.
