Abstract:

This interactive, question-and-answer session will increase participants' knowledge of current advising situations across the world, focusing on the topics of retention, and the first year experience. Panelists from different countries will provide information about these and other issues, which will also be uploaded to the website; participants are encouraged to read this and to submit questions in advance. Questions may also be given to the facilitator at the beginning of the session. Panelists will respond to these and there will be general discussion. Those willing to provide contact details will be added to a list so that an online discussion may continue after the conference. |
