Abstract: This Hot Topics roundtable will connect conference participants with NACADA training and development experts. All panelists were part of the Professional Development Committee while the Core Competencies were being developed and look forward to sharing ideas and thoughts in an open discussion environment.
Participants in this discussion will come away with an understanding of how the Core Competencies can be used in a variety of advising scenario, ways to think about how you as an individual or an administrator can use them in your day to day advising practice, or challenges you might run into.
