Lead Presenter: Catherine Mathweg
Date: October 01, 2018    Time: 7:15 am - 8:15 am
Room: N Ballroom 120 A-D
Abstract: Conference attendees can learn about an early warning system, created by a small private university, using a unique management system versus major vendor management systems in the confines of the institution system and financial constraints.

Materials and technology tools will provide the path of the early alert system and all its components and how the university community members collaborate with the student. The presentation will demonstrate the components of the early warning system: 1) faculty ability to submit information from a class list; 2) the information is shared to individuals based on how a student is coded (i.e. academic advisor, athlete, provision acceptance, resident, grant participant, etc.); 3) mid-term grades; 4) staff early alert form; and 5) Behavioral Intervention Team.
