Abstract:

What do family dinner traditions, Star Wars, professional engagement, Big Bang Theory, Legos, kindergarten, and travel have to do with advising? Break with the normal conference pace and join seven advisors for some storytelling in their rapid-fire Pecha Kucha-style talks on the theme "All I need to know I learned..." Each 6 minute 40 second talk will depict aspects of theory, practice, self-reflection, and professional growth in the advising field, and will give attendees an opportunity to reflect differently on what they know about themselves and the work they do as an advisor. |
