Abstract:
|
Earning college credit as a high school student is continually gaining momentum. Over the past few years, advisors at the University of Cincinnati's Carl H. Lindner College of Business noticed how this trend was impacting not only the design of the college's first-year experience program, but also painting students into a corner that did not always align with their needs. While these students are academically at a place to join sophomores and juniors in the classroom, their college adjustment needs remain aligned with their traditional freshmen counterparts. This session will explore how a new palette was tested, altered and remastered to advise this unique group through their first-year experience. |
