Abstract: "Do your students need support in developing their inclusive mindset? 'Inclusive by Design' is now a strategic initiative for all programs in our academic college. The Undergraduate Program office invested time to redesign our first-semester introductory course with a goal to introduce personal and professional identity development. In this redesigned course students learn from their own stories to discover their identity, interests and future aspiration as well as how they vary from their classmates. Our goal is to create a more inclusive environment for our students to learn and be prepared for the global workforce. Participants who come to this session will learn how to create a new course, assess learning outcomes and how to create diversity education within the college curriculum.
