We all love the create-your-own option at our favorite fast-casual restaurants. Why not apply the same approach to articulating your advising philosophy? It doesn't have to be an overwhelming task; it can be as easy as assembling a good meal. This interactive workshop will guide you through meaningful reflection of your advising practice, and provide you the recipe for developing your own advising philosophy. With the right ingredients, you can express your advising purpose and define your personal brand as a higher ed professional in your current and future roles. Together, we will select each of the pieces - theory, values, actions, and motivators - to create your perfect combo. |
