Abstract:
|
Are you sick being in your office all day? Want to be more accessible for your students? Do you find yourself wanting to advise students while enjoying the great outdoors? At the University of Arizona, the Colleges of Letters, Arts, and Science collaborated with our Advising Resource Center to bring advisors to the students. Our Pop-Up Advising program was a cross-departmental collaboration designed to proactively bring advising to the students at various locations on campus, including our student union, residence halls, and outside mall (gathering spot on campus). In this session, we'll discusses the challenges and successes of adapting a mobile advising program and how this type of approach could work on your campus. |
