Abstract: Zayed University is the first national university in UAE that introduced the academic advising position that is leaded by UAE national staff. The advisors went through many challenges which leads them to showcase a great model of academic advisors at university. They had become one of the important resource on campus that serve both students and colleges. The university had provided many opportunities to all academic advisors to learn and discover new elements that add value to enhance the advising by helping student to have correct academic path.

The academic advisors at Zayed University been trained to use several systems to enhance student advising. The skills & systems have improved the advising at university.

Systems are: Grade First- FAB- Degree Works and Banner.
